SFO update

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ: Don't forget the Midwest Catholic Family Conference Aug. 5-7 at Century II. Brother Larry and several from our fraternity will man the SFO table there. Please stop by to visit if you are going to be there during the weekend.

Looking ahead:

• Our next regular meeting will be Sunday, Aug. 14.  It's later because of the conference. Please read chapter 8 in our initial and ongoing formation books. Margarita and Brian will lead the ongoing.
• Our mini-retreat will be Saturday, Aug. 27, from 9 am to after lunch at the SLC. The topic will be announced. A head-count will be taken at the Aug. 14 meeting.
• Our Christmas fund is at $316 with five months to go. If we can raise an extra $140, or about $10 per person, per month, in addition to our regular gift to the fraternity, we won't have to have a last minute big push for our goal of $1,000. 
• Our September 11 meeting will be at Vaughn's clubhouse in Augusta. Details later.
