Here is a roundup of the July 12 regular meeting:
• Jean Marie shared information about her trip to Guatemala to see her daughter who is working in a clinic there. She had a wonderful time, experienced the poverty of the country, the beauty of the land, the warmth of the people, and was amazed at how well her daughter spoke Spanish. Muy bien!
• We are considering plans for a Robert Watkins' visitation schedule. Brother Robert is in a nursing home and doesn't seem to be improving. The matter will be discussed at the council meeting July 28.
• Please remember Sister Cuc's sister in your prayers. May she rest in peace!
• Remember our retreat-ito (little retreat) planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Spiritual Life Center. Those planning to attend, please remember to give Brother Chet $7.50 for lunch. He will write a check to the SLC for all attendees.
