April 3 meeting notes

What a wonderful grace-filled meeting we had Sunday, April 3! It is truly a blessing that our brothers and sisters are able to gather, grow in love for each other, and pray together to sanctify the Body of Christ. 

Our next mini-retreat has been scheduled for Saturday, May 14. Once again, we will meet for Mass in the St. Elizabeth Chapel at the east end of the Catholic Care Center. After Mass we will gather in the St. Joseph Room of the Spiritual Life Center. Lunch will be at noon. Our topic will be Thomas Aquinas.

We will use “Thomas Aquinas in 50 Pages: A Quick Layman's Guide to Thomism.” Here is a link to a free download of the booklet, for those who wish to have a .pdf of it.

In preparation for our next regular meeting on Sunday, May 1, please keep in mind:

• We are trying to organize a virtual library of Franciscan or other religious books. Please go through your home collection and either email Brother Steve here or bring a list to the next meeting to be placed in a borrowing database. 
• The regional retreat June 10-12 in Oklahoma City. Registration forms will be available at our next meeting. Visit the regional website here for more information.
• Please read chapter 5 of our ongoing formation prayer book for the May meeting. Please note that those who have been welcomed are now on our snack list.
