June 5 meeting recap

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:

Please continue praying for Brother Chet and all in our fraternity who are ill, suffering, or recovering.

Those of you who wish to participate in our virtual library, please look through your religious and Franciscan books for titles you would be kind enough to share. Please bring your list to the next meeting or email it to stevebradshawSFO@gmail.com.

Please pencil in your calendar that our next mini-retreat will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Spiritual Life Center. Mass will be at 11:15, I believe, with lunch following. I will need an exact lunch count at our August regular meeting.

I have been asked to remind you of three events led by Franciscan Friars of the Renewal at St. Francis of Assisi Parish:

• Sunday, June 12, 3 p.m.: Father Xavier Meiergerd's Mass of Thanksgiving, reception will follow
• Monday, June 13, 6 to 10 p.m.: Eucharistic Festival for high school and college age students
• Tuesday, June 14, 7 to 8:30 p.m.: Father Glenn Sudano's talk about St. Francis and the Eucharist. Includes adoration and confession.
